Donald B. and Dorothy L. Stabler Scholarship Endowment

Mr. and Mrs. Stabler recognized the importance of education. They were uniquely aware of the fact that many able young men and women might not be able to attain the benefits of higher education without financial assistance. The Stablers also believed that the recipients of financial assistance should recognize an obligation and be encouraged to return that which they receive so that others, in turn, may be advantaged by similar assistance. Consideration shall be given to the character, motivation and achievements of candidates who give indication of their eagerness for a college education, do not expect a free education and recognize the virtues of working for what they receive. Students are asked to contribute monies back to the scholarship that at least equal the amount they received.
