Janet Christopher Scholarship Endowment

This scholarship is named in memory of Janet Christopher, a student at Northampton Community College in the early 1990s. Janet was a flight attendant with Trans World Airlines while preparing for a career change by attending the College part-time. She was a loving wife and mother whose life was tragically cut short by the crash of TWA Flight 800. This scholarship was founded to provide annual support to students returning to college, on a full or part-time basis, and taking math and/or computer courses as preparation for re-entering the work force.
