Hannig Family Endowment in Support of Childcare

The Hannig family is a prominent Monroe County family. Chuck Hannig was among the original founders of the Monroe Campus of Northampton Community College, served as a member of the College’s Board of Trustees and on its Foundation Board. This endowment was funded by the Hannig Family in honor of Joan Hannig, a dedicated wife and mother, whose career interests centered on the improvement of life for children. This scholarship was founded to promote the availability and improvement of child care for students at the Monroe Campus of Northampton Community College.
