Thomas O. Marakovits Scholarship Endowment

This scholarship was founded to honor the memory of Thomas O. Marakovits. Professor Marakovits joined the Northampton Community College faculty as an associate professor of criminal justice in 1999 after a distinguished career with the PA State Police. He was promoted to the rank of professor in the 2005-06 academic year and was the recipient of the Christensen Award for Teaching Excellence in 2006. This scholarship was founded to provide scholarship assistance to full and part-time, second year students who are attending Northampton Community College and majoring in criminal justice.
