Dr. and Mrs. David Feinberg Memorial Nursing Scholarsip Endowment

Dr. Feinberg began his service to Northampton Community College in 1968, as the first Board member to represent the Wilson school district on the College’s Board of Trustees. He served on the board through 1986. In his capacity as a trustee, he guided the College and East Hospital through the process of developing the College’s nursing program, to the point where the nursing program at the hospital could be closed. He became a member of the College Foundation Board in 1983 and served through 1997, when he was named an emeritus board member. In 1992 he received the Trustee’s Distinguished Service Award. This scholarship was founded to provide support to full or part-time students majoring in nursing.
