Presidential Ambassador Scholarship

Northampton Community College is offering Presidential Ambassador Scholarships for 2024 Northampton and Monroe County high school graduates. Students selected as Presidential Ambassadors will be required to provide a minimum of 20 hours per semester of service (i.e. serving as an Ambassador for NCC at special events, providing tours, representing NCC on committees, tutoring, etc.). Ambassadors will also attend a leadership development class.

Supplemental Questions
  1. Did you apply to NCC as a full-time student in an associate degree program and submit your official high school transcript.
  2. Do you rank in the top 20% of your high school graduating class (rank must be maintained through high school graduation)?
  3. Do you participate in school and/or community activities while in high school?
  4. Have you submitted or do you plan to submit the Free Application for Federal Assistance (FAFSA) by March 31, 2021?
  5. If selected as a finalist for Presidential Ambassador, you will meet with the selection committee before a final determination or award is made.
  6. If selected as a Presidential Ambassador, you agree to provide a minimum of 20 hours per semester of service to NCC including, but not limited to: serving as an Ambassador for NCC at special events, providing tours, representing NCC on committees,tutoring, etc.
  7. Describe your leadership, community service, and other extra-curricular roles in high school and how you plan to enhance those as a Presidential Ambassador at NCC. (Maximum of 500 words.)
