Dr. Gene and Joan Witiak Veterinary Technician Scholarship Endowment in Memory of Dr. Susan Stadler

This scholarship has been established by Dr. Gene and Joan Witiak to honor and remember Susan Stadler, DVM, who launched the Veterinary Technician program at Northampton Community College. Susan served as the Vet Tech program director from 1996 to 2009. Under her leadership the program earned accreditation from the American Veterinary Medical Association in just one year. Colleagues and former students remember Susan fondly as a “firecracker” who loved her bikes and horses and was always full of life. An enthusiastic, dedicated and caring teacher, she advocated fiercely on behalf of her students and felt privileged to serve as a veterinarian for over two decades. This scholarship was founded to honor Susan Stadler by supporting Vet Tech students at NCC.
