Dr. Murry A. Lytel and Gerri Lee Lytel Dental Hygiene Scholarship Endowment

Dr. Murray A. Lytel (aka Dr. Sparkle) was a graduate of Temple University and its school of dentistry who built a successful dental practice in the Easton area. He was one of the founders of NCC’s dental hygiene program and served as the chairman of its advisory committee from the late 1960’s through 1978. This fund was established in 2009 by his wife Gerri to celebrate his life, to honor his memory, and carry on his legacy- his love of learning, his passion for independence through higher education, and his responsibility to give back to society by focusing on his profession and community. This scholarship was founded to provide scholarship support to students majoring in dental hygiene at Northampton Community College.
